Last week, Kampuchea Balopp started a new rugby program with the french NGO “Cambodge Enfance Developpement”. This NGO, which is working with Kien Klang orphanage based in Chroy Changvar suburb on the Russey Keo District.
CED/Kien Klang is helping disadvantaged families who are not able to pay for schooling for their children. They have around 50 kids in charge between 3 and 18 years old.
The first training, last thursday, was a big discovery for all those kids. More that 30 boys and girls enjoy as it should be the happiness of team games, and are very keen to continues the experience.
CED is working with the help of another french NGO called “Sourires du Cambodge”, lead by Benoit Varney which help CED/Kien Klang to develop cultural and sport activities. for more information about Sourires du Cambodge: http://www.facebook.com/SouriresDuCambodge
