The Kampuchea Balopp team will be hosting a number of fantastic events in France this June. The organization co-founders Nicolas Olivry and JB Suberbie will be available at a number of social and educational events to discuss the work of Kampuchea Balopp and how we use sport and rugby for a positive empowerment of youth in Cambodia.
A Fundraising dinner Soirée Enfance et Ovalie II (Diner Caritatif) is being organized in partnership with Serge Betsen Academy on the night of Thursday June 11th and will feature special guests Serge Betsen, current French and Racing Metro 92 fullback and KB ambassador Brice Dulin as well as Toulouse player Clement Poitrenaud who will be selling some of his photography along with acclaimed photographer Florence AT. The duo visited Cambodia and spent time with Kampuchea Balopp earlier this year.
An evening with Children and Rugby II (Benefit Diner)
Kampuchea Balopp and Serge Betsen Academy (Cameroon) are hosting a fantastic charity dinner on Thursday 11th June in Paris at RESTAURANT LA MANUFACTURE. The evening will feature former and current French national team players Serge Betsen, Clement Poitrenaud and Brice Dulin.
Clement Poitrenaud and Florence At, an acclaimed professional photographer, will be presenting and selling some of their work. The pair visited Cambodia and spent some time with Kampuchea Balopp earlier this year.
Places are limited for this unique event and participation costs 100 EURO/ per person with the unique menu prepared by Chef Jean Christophe Lebascle.
The funds raised during this event will be distributed between the two associations Kampuchea Balopp & Serge Betsen Academy. Each participant or donor may receive in exchange for its contribution / donation a tax receipt which will enable it to benefit from a tax reduction (for 60% of the value of the gift for a company and 66% for an individual).
The delicious menu prepared chef Jean-Christophe Lebascle for the evening which will be accompanied by fine French wines.

KHMERS EN MÊLÉE” – Tournée FRANCE 20-26 Juin
The Kampuchea Balopp team is hitting the road in France in June to premiere and screen the documentary “Khmer en Melee” made by the production company Frapadoc Productions. The film focuses on rugby as a tool for education and social inclusion for underprivileged children in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. The team will screen the film in several cities in France between June 20 & June 26 2015. It will be a moment not to be missed and to been enjoyed with rugby clubs, family and friends!
This tour aims to educate young French rugby schools and all fans of rugby on the work of Kampuchea Balopp but also highlight the noble universal values of rugby that transcend cultural barriers.
